Something like that

As I sit and write this, it is currently extremely cold outside and the temperature is only looking to fall. It will be a whole whopping…wait for it…eighteen degrees tonight. I don’t like to come out of the house unless the temperature is above my age and well, it’s going to be twenty years under my age tonight so you won’t see me at all! Anyways,  It seems as if I am always titling my blogs that way anymore. But,  alas it is true, it has been awhile…again. I have undoubtedly surpassed what I ever thought that I would do. I finished my Novel “Desires of the Heart” and recently sent it off for submission at Carina Press. It is a digital publishing company. I would be an idiot if I didn’t send it to more than one so I am still currently looking for a print publisher. I wouldn’t mind digital but I along with many others, want a signed print copy they can hold in their hands. I was in November’s edition of Books and Buzz magazine, an online literary magazine. That was a big one let me tell you and I am currently writing my second romance novel I have decided to entitle “Cinder-Cookie” That title may or may not stay. It depends on how the story leads me. I do find it fun and interesting, which is what I try to be most times but, I am an author which can mean anything but…for me, it means that I am better at writing than I ever will be talking and that I am anti-social at best except with my family and my characters. Ok, well maybe not that anti-social.  You can currently find my completed novel on Chapter buzz but it is the rough version. No paint and polish there but, it is readable and obviously everyone is loving it! It has been in the top twenty books on Chapter Buzz for a year or a little more!

So, Christmas is right around the corner! Who got smacked with that reality just now? (silently holding hand up) I have prepared and done the shopping and got the wrapping paper and tape but have I wrapped them? UM, no. I’ll get to it I promise but probably not until like Christmas eve. Happens every year. I thought that being snowed in under fifteen inches of snow would motivate me but it hasn’t. All I have really done is watch movies and peck away at my hubby’s laptop. Oh yeah, and cooked a lot of food. I will be posting a more put together blog post soon, so you will want to watch out for that one! My friend Dacia Arnold has a brand new book coming out TOMORROW! I am so proud of her! Omg wasn’t that awesome?!?! Shes a great woman and she stays super busy but she is an amazing writer and one that you will want to read more of! Ok, I am tuning off now, I have dishes in the sink that are calling me as well as a blanket and hot cup of cocoa. Anemia stinks!
