As we travel this path of a new year to come, I can’t help but stop and think how lucky I am that you’re still mine.
Another Christmas will be celebrated, we’ll all gather round’ the tree, but the only things that matter, will be those that are close to me.
The lights will start to twinkle, as the first snow hits the ground, the children begin to laugh and start to spin around.
A blanket of snow to cover the past, to grow with me and go with me, Thank God you’ve come at last. You’re a true and faithful companion, a true and faithful friend, I thank the Lord he’s brought you to me, to be with me through the end.
I know that when I need you, you’ll always be by my side, to laugh with me, to cry with me, to enjoy this beautiful ride. When there’s wrinkles on our faces, from laughter and of bliss, as we celebrate Another Christmas, please remember this, No other gift so special, no other gift so sweet, can ever replace the love for you that I am thankful I can keep.
