It’s Beautiful but very deceiving. A sunny day with a light breeze blowing the limbs of the tree I sit near in the car. The field I’m looking at looks as if it should be filled with kids playing ball or throwing Frisbee. Dogs chasing the ball that’s been thrown a million times and families laughing and playing or perhaps picnicking. There’s bleachers and a few picnic tables off to the side but they’re all empty, the field is as well. This beauty of a sight I see through my window is actually a chilling beauty. Looks can be deceiving can’t they? The temperature is not one for the weak at heart or for the very warm natured. It’s not one for the children who want to play and throw the frisbee. It’s certainly not suitable for a picnic. It’s actually only twenty-eight degrees with a windchill of probably 15.

One day soon though, this field will be filled with laughter. It seems so lonely when you look at it. The scenery is nice though. But yes, oh yes, looks can be deceiving.
