This is unreal to me…like really

I signed up for WordPress years ago. So long ago in fact, I have no clue of what my username and password use to be. Of course now a days, there’s so many of those to go around its hard to keep up. Anyways, it was along time ago. Back then, I lacked confidence. I never dreamed I could write anything that anyone would like. It sorta was just there to pass the time. I absolutely still loved writing just as much as I do now but, I was lacking in so many areas. I leaned on my husband a lot for the confidence I needed to have in myself. He’s always, from day one, been my biggest supporter. But I needed to believe I could on my own.

Branching out.

The years passed. I wrote  a short story,  27 chapters of a book, little funny tid bits on Facebook etc. I had a fire for my novel. Called about having it reviewed and everything that entails and the price tag was well, a bit much. After that, I did  the worst thing I could have ever done… I gave up.

Netflix

It was last week sometime, I has chosen to watch a movie entitled “Beauty and a Briefcase”  A very cute movie by the way. The girl is a columnist for a fashion magazine who gets her big break in writing for Cosmo. That was it, that sparked the Flame once again. Not necessarily that I want to write for Cosmo, but you get where I’m going with that. 

In the Now

A long overdue date with my husband brought up writing. I was almost giddy with excitement just thinking about it. That very same night, I started blogging and here I am. I have 14 follower to the blog I opened this past Saturday and numerous things written. Support is a great thing. Having people actually follow my postings is a great confidence booster. I so appreciate it. Feel free to drop me a line, I promise I’ll reply back 🙂
