We all have those days. You know the ones I’m talking about. Things just don’t go your way, your grumpy, you get into an argument. anything that cause you to lose your “happy” place. Retail therapy can be expensive after awhile and I mean, what are you going to do with everything you buy anyways?? Eventually, your place is going to take the shape of a Hoarders house with things piled to the ceiling.
The Cure
This works for me, may not for some but its a lot lighter on the pocket book and causes a lot less clutter. I mean. We all have enough clutter in our lives as it is. Am I right or am I right? I love, love, love going shopping online!! No worries about getting dressed up or dealing with irate customers, no traffic, just comfort. When I say shop online, I use the term loosely. On Amazon’s site, I search what I want to look at, pull it up, Ohhh and Ahh over it like I’m actually going to buy it… but I don’t. I click the little grey button that reads “wish” list. I have quite a few things on my Amazon wish list at the moment. Stuff I would love to have but can’t see the point in buying. Several necklaces, earrings, odds and ends stuff.
BUT…
Its Sooooo helpful to me when I have found myself in a bad mood. Its all sycosymatic I’m sure but the endorphins in my brain love it.Besides, its better than eating cake or something to try to return to happy so its a twofer really. Weight watching and wallet watching. So what if my infamous wish list is filled with things I’ll never have. It makes me happy and I…am ok with that.
