So I just ordered our children’s study books and year end tests for the year. I’m so excited to be wrapping this year up soon and relaxing on the beach in May Lord Willin’. I thouroughly enjoy teaching our children and helping them learn. It is a task at times to keep them focused but that’s normal for any parent of a teenager.
Knowing they can be safe and learn here at home means all the world to me. I can’t wait to go to the beach! We went last year as well, my very first time there. The ocean is beautiful and something you can’t fully appreciate unless you see it first hand. I must admit, I was fully taken aback when I heard its roar and watched the waves crash on the shoreline. The wind from the movement of the water and the salty air took my breath away. The hotel we stayed at was magnificent and added to the excitement and thrill of actually being there. The food…magnificent. I can only hope that this time will be just as wonderful. It’ll probably be warmer this year however, since we’re going in May and last year we went in April. Either way, the escape from the everyday will be great.
